Louis Adeane was born in 1921. He wrote in a poetic culture dominated
by the dissimilar talents of Dylan Thomas and T. S. Eliot. Adeane's
sensitive awareness and agonised self-confession are arranged
with perfect assurance in images and words which make a highly
individualised world.
A selection of thirteen poems has been printed in an edition of
thirty numbered copies in 14pt Centaur on an Italian handmade
paper. Bound in quarter linen with hand coloured paste paper boards.
Frontispiece line drawing and an etching St. John of the Cross
(see below) by Peter Davis.
